I've been told it's good practice for an artist to keep a blog, almost like a second journal. This causes two problems: first, this is the internet. Second, lets face it, the only interesting things directly about a person's life are extremely personal. Online journals are only for the self-desctructive.
Instead, this will probably be populated by artsy articles, with splashes of philosophy, and then some other miscellany. I sporadically have worthless design-oriented epiphanies worth sharing, and I come up with awkward perspectives for equally worthless arguments since I love being the devil's advocate a little too much. I also have serious opinions about art's place in video games; a futile debate.
On the more practical side, I have a strong interest in character interaction and development and how stories are told and conveyed. As a result, I'll probably be posting a lot on design, creativity, and storytelling, as well as my own musings involving my own story ideas and the characters populating them. As for myself, I'm a Digital Media major with a CS minor and a Studio Art minor at UCF in Orlando, Florida. That's right, I enjoy wasting my life.
Enjoy the blog.
